KSS Shipping Services was established in December 2005 in Mumbai to provide various technical services to the shipping industry in the global market.
Our experience extends to all aspects with respect to ship operations and maintenance. Hull management of ships and other marine structures forms the core activity of various services offered.
The company was founded by a senior marine professional with experience in ship technical management services and the technical department of Indian maritime administration.
Our team of well-experienced technicians in structural assessment of marine structure/ ship’s hull by Ultrasonic Thickness Gauging including the use of Remote Inspection techniques is well appreciated by our clients.
The company is ISO 9001:2015 certified and is approved by members of the International Association of Classification Societies (IACS) for carrying out the structural inspection of hull on vessels under their class and includes use of remote inspection techniques.
Other Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and marine services as required by our clients is also done by us.

UTM as per Class requirement towards Class Statutory / CAP surveys. The company has been approved by Class ABS, BV, CCS, DNV, IRS, KRS, LR, NK, and RINA
Tank assessment either using rafting or using IRATA certified rope access technicians. For using remote inspection techniques -- rope access technicians for UTM and Close Up survey using CCTV, the company is approved by Class ABS, BV, DNV, IRS, KRS, LR, NK and RINA
Owner's requirement to estimate steel renewal and staging requirement
Steel repair plan and dry dock specification
Paint coating inspection/ condition report during steel estimation stage by same inspectors trained/ qualified in the field
Supervision/ verification of steel repairs
Weld inspection by qualified inspectors
UT Flaw detection of welds
Any other NDT inspection services — including Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) and Liquid Penetrant Testing (LPI)
Thermal Imaging of Electrical and Mechanical System
